This week features another father/son team on the OSTPA circuit. Don and Shawn Williams from Croton, Ohio pull the Out'a Control, 540 TFX Hemi Dodge Dakota. The Out'a Control team is the 2007 Jeff McPherson Memorial TWD Points Champion.
Don, a 58 year old farmer from Croton, is married to Marcie. They have two children, son Shawn and daughter Ginger. They are proud grandparents of five grandchildren. Don has been pulling for 21 years and is a former OSTPA Modified tractor champion, the 2003 and 2005 OSTPA TWD Champion and 2003 TWD Puller of the Year. When Don's not busy on the farm or pulling, he enjoys watching Drag Racing and NASCAR.
Thirty-six year old Shawn has been married to wife Amy for 12 years. They have two daughters Ashlee and Kylee. Shawn farms with his dad but he also owns and operates a sign company, Williams Custom Vinyl, with Amy. Pulling for 13 years, Shawn has a earned many OSTPA honors, such as 2002 Reserve Champion TWD Points, 2003 OSTPA Points Champion and Puller of the Year, 2004 Points Reserve Champion and 2005 OSTPA Points Champion. Outside of pulling, Shawn is a volunteer fireman and enjoys softball and golf.
