January 14th, 2008 (Corona, CA) – The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League is staged to announce its 2008 Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Champions Tour Winners Circle program. In 2008, the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League will have the largest pay-outs of any pulling organization in the country. Coming off of a highly successful 2007 season, 2008 looks to be bigger and better featuring more two day, two track events than ever before, more television coverage than ever before, and additional funding for Winners Circle prize money.
In 2008, Lucas Oil Products and their Team Lucas partners have designated $80,000 in posted money for the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Winners Circle program, with $1300 in extra purse money paid to Champions Club members at 17 Champions Tour events. First place will take home $400, second will reap an extra $300, third will earn an extra $200, eleventh and twelfth will also receive an extra $200 per event. These cash prizes will be above and beyond the promoters advertised purse for the 17 events designated by the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Champions Tour.
“This is a win-win for everyone as the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League will have the largest purse payout for the touring members in the industry,” exclaimed Mike Chastain, Series Director, “and the promoters are thrilled as well as they are getting an extra boost.” With the extra boost in funding of this year’s Winners Circle program, the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League is now the highest paying tour in the industry, cementing its status as the premier pulling tour in the country. With more great Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League events, more money paid out to its members than ever before, and for the first time ever, all televised events will be shot in High Definition. The 2008 Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League season is indeed looking to be the biggest and most action-packed yet.
