How do you measure blower rotors? I’m tired of these guys down here running a so called “retro fit” or long blower case with supposed “spacer plates” inside them. The NTPA rules state on pg 22 that the max blower is a 14-71 with a 19 inch rotor case length. |
Answer:
NTPA officials measures the blower case length and width internally. If you read the note on past where you are referring to on page 22 it describes how we measure a 8-71 internally……We use the same method to measure all blowers. I know the rule book doesn’t “say that word for word” but that’s how we do it. I will make sure the 2010 NTPA rulebook says that.
