Mid South's First Pull of the Season

Murray Kentucky

The Mid-South Pullers Association kicks off its 2009 season this weekend, Saturday, April 25th in Murray, Kentucky, with an exciting show put on by the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity of Murray State University to benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital of Memphis, Tennessee. Four big classes are on tap, with 8000 Super Stocks, 10,000 Pro Stocks, 9300 Super Farms, and the inaugural event for the Light Super Modified Tractor class. Murray has traditionally been an early first hook for competitors, and a guest appearance by a puller or two that doesn’t run for MSPA points is never out of the question as pullers work to put the final touches on their rides before the summer begins. With weather forecasted in the low eighties and sunshine in abundance, come join us for a pull on one of the south’s best tracks all to support a worthy cause! Attention Pullers: The guys from Alpha Gamma Rho would like to invite all the pullers to a barbeque in the pits Saturday. They will start serving around 3 pm and will serve as long as the food lasts.
