The annual World Pulling International, Inc. (WPI) Shareholders Meeting took place at the Holiday Inn Express in Brownsburg, Ind. on Saturday, March 14. WPI is the holding company of the NTPA, and is responsible for the management and finances of the affiliate. Two WPI Executive Board Members, George Everett and Max Simpson, were up for re-election. Everett was renominated and elected through acclamation to another three year term on the board. Max Simpson decided to decline nomination, so the nomination committee recommended Midwest Wheel and A.P. Productions owner Roger Wysong as a replacement candidate.
