Attention Competitors:
With the new "light" Modified class being added to our 2009 rulebook and several requests for turbine powered tractors in the other classes, the joint executive boards of NTPA / WPI has lifted the moratorium on turbine powered vehicles. NTPA will allow new turbine powered vehicles to be licensed as long as they fit in the current list of approved engines and conform to all NTPA turbine rules.
Note: No "per hook" licenses will be allowed for turbine powered vehicles due to the special type vehicle, inspection procedure and the liability thereof.
