Horsin' Around Pulling Team

Horsin' Around Pulling team is a family affair and consists of my dad Larry Page who is a great wrench and body man and travels with me to all the pulls, then there is my daughter Emily who helps when asked and is learning to help with the driving duties, my youngest daughter Alaina and my wife Robin also help when asked. Also my sponsors are team members as well. Without their help, we wouldn't be where we are at today.

The truck started life as a 1990 Ford F-250 4x4 Lariat. We purchased it in the summer of 2004 and drove it for until November when the water pump went out. At that time, we decided to overhaul the motor and things kind've got out of hand quickly as this tweak led to that tweak and so on until we had a "street legal" pulling truck. During 2005 we campaigned the truck at area brush pulls and was very successful with it. Then the bug hit for more power so more upgrades ensued. At that time we also started pulling with Indiana Truck Pullers Association to have consistent rules and because the truck was evolving to the next level and it wouldn't be fair to my competitiors to continue pulling in the street legal class. Since then the truck has been evolving and becoming more and more competitive.

Alan works as a Information Technology specialist, and when not pulling attends the kids sports and band activities. Hobbies include shooting and automotive work and light excavating. Alan also hacks around on guitar and bass guitar and is involved with a Christian praise band called Steadfast (http://www.myspace.com/stdfstfumc) where he plays bass and sings bass and harmony. He also attends Springcreek Christian Church with his family and plays guitar and sings harmony with their praise team.
