POINT RACES HEAT UP

Caledonia, NY...With only a couple more weeks left in the season, two point races are really starting to heat up. In the Heavy Super class, Lloyd Christ holds a slim 2 point lead over early season leader Dave Everman. Christ took the lead last Sunday in Langford. Friday night in Caledonia, Everman chopped off four points from Christ's lead. Both drivers are looking for their first championship in this class. Only five more hooks remain for this division with the last being in Chaffee, NY.

The other close battle is in the Modified class where the Fintak Bros, Bob and Joe are holding on to a 4 point lead over the hard charging Tom Durfee. Fintaks took over the lead after they strung together a couple wins in Troy, Pa and Fergus, ONT. After a slow start this season, Durfee has put together quite a charge as he is coming off his third straight win Friday night in Caledonia. Only four more hooks are left. The final hook in this class will also be held in Chaffee, NY.
