Richard McPherson from Circleville, Ohio competes in the Jeff McPherson Memorial Two Wheel Drive Truck division. Driving his Midwest Raider and his late son's Bean Bandit, Richard has been pulling for over 41 years.
McPherson is married to Freda. The have two children, Jeff and Angie. They are also proud grandparents of two grandchildren.
When he isn't pulling, Richard is a full time farmer.
The Midwest Raider is a 2000 Chevy S-10 with a 572 Oldsmobile.
McPherson has received many honors with the OSTPA including 2002 OSTPA Points Champion, 2002 OSTPA Puller of the Year, 2003 National Farm Machinery Show Runner-up and is a member of the OSTPA Hall of Fame.
