John Cespedes, out of Louisville, Ohio, pulls the gasoline-powered Minnieapolis Moline G1000 called Fools Gold in the Riverside Engines Pro Stock Tractor division.
Cespedes, 59, is a shop forman for Harman Electric in Canton, Ohio. He and his wife, Lois, have one daughter, Mindy, and three grandchildren.
Outside of pulling, John enjoys hobbies that centers around tractors. John has been pulling for a total of 45 years. Twenty-three of those years have been spent pulling the Fools Gold tractor.
John has been recognized on the OSTPA Circuit by being named OSTPA Puller of the Year from 2001 through 2006 and winning the Pro Stock Points in 2003, 2004, and 2005. In 2002 and 2006, Cespedes earned the runner-up spot in the points chase.
Without the help of his brother Gus, pulling wouldn't be possible for Cespedes. John would also like to thank Nichols Tire Cutting, Fox Lake Power Products and Columbus Diesel.
