OSTPA Puller of the Week....Eric Brooks!

This week's puller, Eric Brooks, who drives the American Engine-uity (pronounced ingenuity) Super Farm, turns 53 years old on March 22nd.
Brooks, a full-time grain farmer from New Marshfield, Ohio is not a stranger to the OSTPA circuit. Back in the mid-1970s, Eric campaigned the Budget Buster, an Oliver 88 in 1975 and then in 1976 the Budget Buster II, a Case 400. Brooks earned the runner-up spot in points in the 5000 lb. Out of Field Stock division with the Budget Buster II. He also served as the division president from 1976-1977. Eric took a hiatus from pulling with the OSTPA in 1977. Throughout the 1980s, Eric pulled off and on at local county fairs with a Case 1070. After attending the 2003 and 2004 National Tractor Pulls in Bowling Green, he decided to get back involved with the OSTPA. In 2005, he debuted the Case 2290, called American Engine-uity.
Eric is married to Jackie. They will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary on June 24th, 2008. They have two daughters, Erin and Jody. Last June, Jody married Adam Carney.
In his spare time outside of pulling and farming, Eric enjoys antique tractor restoration, an occasional round of golf, and spending quality time with his dog, Lucy, on a daily basis.
