The Barga
Family
The Barga family captured the 2007 Crow's Hybrid Seeds Modified Points Championship with The Judge, which has T-53 turbine engines, a banter chassis and gearbox.
Ron and Doris Barga have 8 children, 6 sons and two daughters. Sons Darrick, Ron II and Brad assist in the piloting of the top-running modified.
Outside of pulling, Ron Sr. is a farmer and enjoys football, basketball and playing cards.
The Judge Team has captured 7 Grand National Champions and 4 OSTPA Points Championship. In 1999, Ron Sr. was named to the OSTPA Hall of Fame. In 1985, The Judge and Barga family pulled at Ahoy Stadium in Rotterdam, Holland. The Barga family was named the NTPA Family of the Year in 2002.
The Jury rejoined The Judge in the Barga's stable in 2007.
The latest achievement for the Barga family was at this year's OSTPA Banquet, when Doris was named 2008 Ms. OSTPA.
